Brave Buzzers is an enhanced tactile stimulation system (ETSS) designed to improve therapeutic outcomes for patients in remote or virtual therapy sessions, by providing bilateral stimulation combined with real-time feedback. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of trauma therapy that uses bilateral stimulation, but it can be difficult to implement effectively in virtual therapy settings. Brave Buzzers is an ETSS for remote patients, using handheld, wireless buzzers that can be remotely activated and controlled by a therapist during virtual guided EMDR therapy sessions. Brave Buzzers feature easy-to-use app controls as well as multiple speed and intensity settings, so therapists can quickly select the appropriate levels for each session.
