Dado Safe is a table saw safety device that mounts from above instead of behind to allow for the safe use of dado blades. The design of ordinary table saws requires taking off the guard and riving knife when using a dado blade, making them incredibly unsafe. Dado Safe features a bar that mounts a larger anti-kickback device above the blade, enabling pieces to be safely passed over the dado. Dado Safe has higher clearance for the guide bar, and offers the room to safely finish cuts while keeping users out of the way of the work. Dado Safe is designed to securely fasten onto the side of the saw, and can be easily added to existing table saws or included in new setups.
