What is The Waterbar? The Waterbar is a portable water flow regulator designed for hobby mining sluice boxes. Getting the right flow of water when sluicing material either requires finding the perfect spot in a river, or cobbling together something that is bulky, heavy, expensive, and hard to move. The Waterbar is a simple clamp and bar system that is lightweight, extremely portable, and small enough to fit in a pocket, but adjustable to a range of sluice box sizes. The Waterbar features a range of outlet holes and angles, so it’s easy to produce the perfect water flow, and fits on top of any size sluice box, so hobby miners can sluice material anywhere there is a garden hose available, including at home with family and friends.
