What is Voltage Monitor? Voltage Monitor is a device designed to monitor the voltage of power lines, and alert the homeowner in case of faults. Wiring connections are particularly susceptible to damage and corrosion from temperature changes, condensation, age, and more, potentially causing voltage shift that can cause dangerous fires and burn circuitry, outlets, and even branch circuit conductors! Voltage Monitor is designed to replace the connections between a building’s service conductors and the service provider, and provide readings on voltage, amperage, and continuity on an easy-to-use digital display. In the event of a dangerous reading, Voltage Monitor can shut off the power to protect all of the electrical components on the system, including service equipment, branch circuits, electronic devices, and more. Voltage Monitor has a small color-coded digital display that shows live readings, including which side the problem originates from, and is also connected to a larger digital display by the panel.
